Update On The Yardley Residence

So.... Last time Kyle blogged and I figured before he mentioned it to me that I better post some new pictures :) All of the drywall is hung and now they are working on getting the tile laid, all closets finished, and trim done. Kyle and I are still trying to make decisions on a lot of things. He is more visual than I am so I have to believe him when he says things will look good.

Yesterday Kyle and I went to Nebraska Furniture Mart to purchase our appliances. I can't wait to cook and bake on this new stove! We also found a couch and a chair for him. Ironically his chair is called "The Beast". It is the biggest chair I have ever seen. He can sit in it and his feet can't even touch the ground! We found these at Havelock Furniture. They have great items there and you can choose a lot of different colors for each piece. It's nice to have options!

We are both getting antsy being cooped up in the condo during the summer months. We aren't driving each other crazy yet and hopefully we can handle it till August rolls around when we hopefully will be in our new house.

So now on to the pictures....

This is our walk in pantry. I believe we should have plenty of storage room. Next time I will take a better picture of it so you can actually see the whole thing :)
This is Kyle's mudroom tile. It is the tile that will be all over the first floor. I would say this is my favorite tile in the whole house!
This is the front entry. It is beautiful when the sun hits it just right. We are trying to agree on a front door right now. I think we got it worked out to where we met in the middle. Geesh marriage is give and take isn't it ;) Haha
Here is the railing for the stairs. Kyle and I are trying to pick out the spindles. We didn't realize how many options there were for this! I got cranky last night trying to look at them so Kyle did most of the research! What a great hubby.

Here are the three guest closets. So far all three have been claimed already for some reason! Haha. I wonder if we will have that many guests??? Hmmm....

This is the guest bedroom tile. I can't wait to see the design around the bathtub. It will look amazing!
This is the laundry room's tile. I am too excited to get our new washer and dryer. My parent's bought it for us as our wedding present! I may actually like doing laundry :)
Here is our bathroom tile and the shower tile is below. The shower is going to look amazing once all the tile is put up on it!
AND MY FAVORITE PART OF THE HOUSE................... OUR CLOSET :)
