Can't Wait For August

Hello All!!

We have had great news. We will be officially moving into our new home in August. Kyle and I are very excited to get everything into one house and to be organized again (this is mainly me). I didn't think it would be hard to have clothes in two different houses! Ugh...But then I look at "OUR" new closet we have had built and I smile thinking of all "OUR" clothes in there.

I have to state "OUR" like that because my husband always catches me saying "MY" closet :) I think it's just a girl thing. Anywhooo....This week I am out of town and so I can't go see the house till Thursday night. I was told the painters were out there and some of it was primed on Monday. So I am very excited to see some paint on the walls!

On Sunday Kyle and I spent about roughly 3 hours at Menards picking out every little detailed item. I never knew how hard it could be to find a sink faucet for the kitchen. After that deb-acle and no luck at finding one we had to make our way to the lighting section where Kyle spent 30-45 minutes picking out motion lights. I am not exaggerating either. It  took FOREVER. We only had to pick out three! Hahaha. I told him he better hurry up because I was about to loose it. Oh the joys of being married to an impatient person. He just looked at me and we moved on to the next area.

I'm sure if Kyle was blogging this time he would put in some funny things that happened while we were there. But to keep me from being embarrassed I will not be telling those stories.

Here are some new updated pictures we have of the house.

Here are pictures of our crown molding that we will have in the living room area on the main floor.

Here are the spindles that we finally picked out. After looking at thousands online we went into a store to look at more. I think we went in thinking we are going to pick these out and get it done. We were in there going back and forth and we had two choices. I asked Kyle which one. Haha again I was being impatient :) Kyle finally said these and I said done!

This is Kyle's mudroom. This will be an amazing room to have. He can get this room dirty and I won't have to worry about the kitchen sink having dirt and grim in it from him :)

This is the laundry room AND I can't wait for the washer and dryer to be place in!

This is our shower. It will have double shower heads in it. I am happy the way it turned out.

This is our double vanity. I can't wait to see it completed!
This is my makeup desk :) I would have never thought of it if it wasn't for our contractor/builder! I am sure it will get used quite a bit. THANKS DAVE GATLIN.
This is the guest shower/tub. I thought this turned out really nice looking. I hope our guests will enjoy it!

Dave Gatlin our contractor/builder makes each fire place specifically for each homeowner. This is nice because we described what we kind of wanted and he went with it. It is looking good!
Last night Kyle went to Ashland to put up our new mail box. I think he did a great job! We can cross that little to do thing off our list :)

I will post more pictures the end of this week or next week so you can see the painting in process!
