As a Christmas present to Kyle and I my parents got us Toby Keith and Brantley Gilbert tickets to the North Platte, NE concert. I knew right away I needed to get Brantley's new CD. I already knew two of his songs because of the radio and I knew that I would like the CD. So once I got the CD I popped it into the car and it has yet to be removed (yes he took over Chris Young's CD). Once I heard this song I fell in love with it right away. It's called, "My Kind of Crazy". He is a great singer and song writer. Check out this song! :)

I really wanted the song "Mary Me" by Train sang at our wedding. Ruby Gutschow did and amazing job singing it while we were lighting our candle. Now Martina McBride and Train are singing it as a duet. Check it out. It is a beautiful song.

I just found this song on YouTube because I am obsessed with Chris Young :) Not sure if he wrote it or not. He writes most of his songs, so my "guess" would be that he wrote it. Check it out! It's a great love song!

Weird I am late again with my Music Monday blog :) This week I have an inspiring song. My sister Megan has it on my play list and when I hear the song I tend to keep running either faster or farther.
Melissa Etheridge has an inspiring song called, "I Run For Life". She was diagnosed with breast cancer in October of 2004 and fought the disease. In November of 2005 is when she first performed the song she wrote "I Run For Life". It is truly an inspiring song if anyone has ever known someone with cancer or who has had cancer.
I have not found the "official video", but I love YouTube :)

God Gave Me You by Blake Shelton is one of my favorite songs by him. He is a great artist and I can't wait to see what else he comes out with!
