Oreo Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies

So I thought since I was in the baking mood about a week ago I would make a cookie for the first home Husker football game. We tailgate every year and I thought why not make a YUMMY cookie, plus Kyle saw this cookie and said he wanted to try it.

1st get all ingredients out and ready to use. Can anyone tell me what MAIN ingredient I would be missing in this picture???
LOL...YEP....Peanut Butter!!!!! So don't forget to get peanut butter out and ready to use :)

2nd cream together butter, peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.

3rd add egg, one at a time to make sure they are fully mixed in.

4th stir in the flout, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.

5th refrigerate dough for 1 hour or longer.

6th place 1 tablespoon of cookie dough on top of the Oreo cookie. Place a second tablespoon underneath. Press dough down around the Oreo. Make sure to seal the cookie dough edges together so that no Oreo shows.

7th bake for 8-11 minutes, or until cookies have started to brown around the edges.

8th cool on baking sheet for a couple of minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
